The 2014 experience survey of participating boaters has resulted in a number of changes to our 2015 and 2016 route to increase boater safety and shorten the run time where participating boaters are confined to their boats.
To increase the margin of boater safety, two way traffic has been reduced to an absolute minimum and the number of turns has been reduced, resulting in a safer and far less challenging, stress-free time for our participating boaters.
To better accommodate the ever increasing number of boats queuing prior to the start of the parade, the actual parade starting point has been relocated farther down route. This opens up the basins off Windjammer Point and Bal Harbor Place condos as well as Albatross Lagoon for a much larger pre-parade assembly area.
PLEASE NOTE:
- There are many viewing areas along the parade route.
- Do not enter private property posted with “NO Trespassing” signs.
- Law Enforcement patrols will actively address any vessels in the path of the parade.
